Support Neethan Shan

Progress Toronto is encouraging Scarborough—Rouge Park residents to vote for council candidate Neethan Shan. Neethan was recently elected in 2017 and in that time has been a strong advocate for affordable housing, child care, recreation programs, children, youth, and seniors programs, and good jobs for Scarborough. Progress Toronto will be working hard to get progressive voters to the polls for Neethan on October 22.

About Neethan from his website: It has been a humbling and rewarding experience to serve as Scarborough City Councillor. Scarborough is where I live and work, where my wife Thadsha and I are raising our two young sons. I am passionate about our community and I am inspired by what we are able to accomplish when we work together.

As you know, the number of City Councillors in the City of Toronto will likely be cut in half. Now, more than ever, Scarborough needs a strong, progressive voice, that can speak up for our residents, our parks, our transit and our streets.

I am committed to our community: our youth, our families and our seniors. I am proud to be Scarborough's progressive voice at City Hall.

I hope to count on your continued trust and support, so that, together we can keep building our future.
