Progress Toronto’s One Year Anniversary Party & Fundraiser
It’s been one year since Progress Toronto launched - and what a year it’s been! The work doesn’t stop, but it’s time we came together to celebrate and help build a strong network of progressives across our city.
Before our 8pm Celebrating Progress Party kicks off, we’re hosting dinner for 115 people (at the same venue) to help raise the funds for our work and the event. Tickets to dinner include tickets to the 8pm Party!
This is a sit-down dinner that is a gathering of leaders in labour, political organizing, and policy-making communities.
Our launch party last year had close to 1,000 people throughout the night. Join us this year for a great party, with good music, refreshments, drinks, and amazing people.
And Raptors fans - don’t worry - we’ll screen Game 6 from the party. We couldn’t celebrate Toronto properly otherwise.

What a year!
Despite the odds, we’ve helped elect incredible progressive candidates and defeat one of the worst city councillors (Giorgio Mammoliti). We successfully campaigned to get free menstrual products into city shelters and our campaign to stop Doug Ford’s cuts to the city is seeing success!
Just last week Ford announced he is putting his cuts to public health, child care, and EMS on hold for 2019. We continue to run phone banks and knock on doors every week across the city to help people take action on education cuts, public health, child care, transit, affordable housing, and more.
It’s time to celebrate the wins we’ve had and the progress we’ve all made! Join us at Celebrating Progress Thursday June 13.
