The Ford government has announced plans to devastate public education by ballooning class sizes, removing thousands of teachers from classrooms, forcing online classes onto students, and cutting programs for the most vulnerable students.

Premier Ford's budget confirms these cuts and says he's consulting residents on the cuts. Now is our chance to put pressure on his MPPs and Government to stop these cuts to education before their implemented.

Progress Toronto is knocking on doors across the city in ridings with Conservative MPPs and speaking to residents about these cuts. By putting pressure on Ford’s caucus, we can convince PC MPPs to speak up in their caucus and convince Ford to hit the brakes on these drastic cuts to education.

We need you to join us on Thursday May 9 at 6PM in MPP Christine Hogarth’s riding of Etobicoke Lakeshore so we can talk to as many people as possible and help them take action against these cuts by putting pressure on the Conservative Government.

We know that under immense public pressure, dissent in the PC caucus has forced the Ford Government to change its tune on key issues including primary education.
