Kate Burns is a full time Digital Organizer for Progress Toronto. With an advanced diploma in graphic design from Conestoga College and five years of experience in the field, Kate is passionate about design for change.
With an extensive background in creating and managing digital media, Kate has focused her career on assisting and advocating for local startups, utilizing graphic design and fashion to promote inclusivity, and volunteering for progressive causes. She played a key role in advocating for inclusivity and the first ever use of non-agency models in Toronto Fashion Week, for designer Hayley Elsaesser.
Kate believes that user-experience focused design is the medium by which to further public engagement that will act as a conduit for change.
