Mosheh Herdsman

Mosheh lives in the hyphen between politics and the arts, putting community engagement first. Now a seasoned organizer, he began volunteering on municipal campaigns and moved onto issue based ones, such as $15 minimum wage and stability for precarious and part time workers. As a Film student at York University he applied his organizational skills in the student run “Manifest” film festival, garnering support from both faculty and students.

Mosheh now resides in Parkdale, High-Park where he is very active, most recently he was apart of Bhutila Karpoche’s campaign and subsequent victory as MPP of the Parkdale-High Park. He is also a programmer at the Revue Cinema focusing on films that deal with black subjectivity, bringing new perspectives to the Roncesvalles neighbourhood.
