COVID-19 Resources & Updates
Over the last few weeks we have shared a number of updates about changes to our work due to COVID-19 as well as resources for you. You can see our most recent updates below as well as some important government websites for you to follow.
Like so many people across the world, COVID-19 is having a significant impact on the way we work and campaign. On Friday March 13, 2020 we closed our offices and our team began working from home. That same week we stopped running in person phonebanks and door-to-door canvasses and moved our activities online. And! We quickly re-worked our Spring Training Series to add timely panels and trainings and make it all available online. Check out our training series here.
Unfortunately, the economic impact of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our funding and donations. At a time when people are facing lay-offs and job insecurity, many of our supporters are not able to make donations - and we completely understand. If you’re in a position to help out with a donation today, you will be making it possible for us to pay our team, run our remote outreach activities like training workshops and phone banks, and continue our work to build a better city throughout and after this crisis. If you can, please donate today by clicking here.
