Deborah Williams

Your Progressive Champion for TDSB Trustee in University—Rosedale, Toronto Centre, and Toronto—St. Paul’s (TDSB Ward 7) is Deborah Williams. Deborah was first elected to the TDSB in 2022, and has spent the last four years fighting against Doug Ford’s cuts and for local families.

She is an active parent who is a dedicated supporter of public education. For over a decade before she was elected Deborah has served as co-chair on school councils, co-chair of the TDSB’s parent involvement committee, and chair of the TDSB Ward 10 council.

Deborah is committed to closing learning and well-being gaps caused by the pandemic, advocating for funding needed from the Province to support equitable public education, and working with students, families, communities, and education workers to make public education a priority. Progress Toronto will be getting the word out about Deborah and encouraging people to elect her as the next TDSB Trustee.
