Justin Chen

Justin Chen is an Organizer at Progress Toronto. With a degree in Political Science, he is passionate about making politics and government more accessible for everyday people. His work focuses on urban justice issues, including public transit, affordable housing, and ensuring that city services meet the needs of families in Toronto.

Before joining Progress Toronto, Justin worked in the office of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and on electoral campaigns in Don Valley West. He brings experience in campaigning on complex legislative issues and turning them into opportunities for real change.

Outside of organizing, Justin is a dedicated curler and coaches the women’s team at Toronto Metropolitan University. He believes that supporting individuals and developing leadership are essential to creating lasting, community-driven change across the city.
