Mayor Chow and Toronto City Council have voted to expand school meals, but to feed all students, the Ford government must match the city’s investment.

Toronto has the highest child poverty rate in Canada, and food bank use is at a record level. A well-funded, universal school meal program will save families thousands of dollars every year and ensure no student has to learn hungry.
