Stephanie Lai

Stephanie Lai is the Digital and Field Organizer at Progress Toronto. She has a degree in Communications from Simon Fraser University and is a recent graduate of the Social Service Worker program at George Brown Polytechnic. She is particularly interested in how strategic messaging and community connection can drive real social change. Stephanie knows that meaningful change cannot be achieved unless people are brought together with purpose and given the tools to advocate for themselves and their communities.

She brings over a decade of marketing experience from Hong Kong, where she developed a strong foundation in communications, stakeholder management, and audience engagement. She looks to channel that expertise into community organizing and social impact work, with a deep commitment to equality and building inclusive communities.

Stephanie believes that collective action and advocacy are essential tools for creating meaningful and lasting change, and her work is grounded in a belief that fostering connection and participation is crucial in shaping a more just society.
