We are collaborating with Ontario Place for All to save Ontario place for public use. We will be speaking to residents in ridings held by Conservative MPPs to stop the destruction of over 1500 trees at Ontario Place and protect this important downtown public green space.

On June 26, together, we were able to elect Olivia Chow as the next mayor of Toronto. It was a historic and hopeful moment! And shortly afterwards, at 11am on Wednesday July 12, the City hosted a Declaration of Office with the City Clerk and officially named Olivia Chow as Mayor of Toronto!

Right now, Toronto is missing $97 million promised in federal funding to provide emergency shelter and housing support for refugees and people seeking asylum. Because of this funding shortfall, refugees and asylum seekers are forced to sleep on couches, in cots in community centres, and on the street. Learn more here.

Toronto is in disrepair. And there are people who work or have worked at City Hall who need to be held accountable for this. The decisions made by councillors and Toronto’s former police chief have taken us down this path. They don’t deserve to hold power anymore.
