Volunteer for Renter Protections: Stand Up to Ford!
Doug Ford’s government is pushing new legislation (Bill 60) that would make it easier for landlords to evict renters and make finding an affordable place to live even harder.
The province already backed down on some parts of the bill because of public pressure, but Ford still wants to introduce more threats to renters. When we take action together we can win!
That’s why we will be knocking on doors in rental buildings across Toronto. Join us to let renters know how Bill 60 impacts them and help them tell their MPP to protect their rights as renters.
Stand up to Ford and demand real protections for renters!

Accessibility Information
If you have any access needs, please let us know at the bottom of the sign up form. Access needs are defined as anything a person may need to communicate, learn, and take part in an activity.
Door knocking requires walking and talking to residents inside buildings for two hours. Some of the buildings may not be accessible. If you are not able to attend the full event, you are still welcome to join for part of it. Please just let us know a head of time.
We are implementing disability justice in our framework and are constantly learning and growing. If you have any questions, suggestions, or need any further information, please reach out to us at volunteer@progresstoronto.ca.
