Budget Training Series:

City Budget 101

The budget will be launched on January 8 and it’s our chance to take a look at what’s funded in the proposed staff budget.

The Mayor and City Council will use this budget as a base to make important decisions on funding for city services, public transit, housing, and much more. What they choose to invest in impacts you, your neighbours, and Toronto’s future.

The City Budget is a complicated document and we want to make it easier for you to understand it!

On Monday, January 12, Councillor Alejandra Bravo’s Chief of Staff Wyndham Bettencourt-McCarthy will lead our City Budget 101 training. She'll be joined by Councillor Gord Perks to share his perspective as the Budget Committee Vice Chair. Join us to learn more about the budget, the process, and how you can have your say.
