Unelect Vincent Crisanti
It’s a tight race between Progressive Champion Ala’a Adib and longtime absent and conservative councillor, Vincent Crisanti. That’s why in Etobicoke North, we are letting residents know about Crisanti’s record so that on October 26 they know they should not vote for Vincent Crisanti. Help us out by signing up to volunteer.
Vincent Crisanti’s Record
First elected 16 years ago, Vincent Crisanti has one of the worst attendance records on council and has not delivered for Etobicoke North—it’s time for a change. Residents deserve a strong advocate at City Hall who will be focused on improving services and opportunities. That’s why we’re supporting Ala’a Adib.
Support for Crisanti is declining. Crisanti lost the seat in 2018 and won by only a few thousand votes in 2022. This election is our chance to elect a strong progressive, and defeat a councillor with not only a bad attendance record but also has a history of voting against important measures that would make life better for North Etobicoke residents.
Vincent Crisanti voted:
Against TTC fare freeze, fare-capping, and cut bus service [1]
Against giving water bottles to people experiencing homelessness [3]
To make it harder for new developments to have affordable housing by trying to narrow the application of inclusionary zoning [5]
Against the “public builder” model for five sites of a new housing strategy that would help build more not-for-profit affordable housing [6]
To delay action on desperately needed road safety measures[7]
To close a library and cut library funding[8]
To cut funding for renter supports [9]
And these are just some of Vincent Crisanti’s most troubling votes.
We need to raise $2,500 for our third party campaign to print flyers and make sure voters know about Crisanti in Etobicoke North. Can you chip in $15?
