Volunteer to Protect our Freedom to Protest
City Council is considering a by-law that could limit our Charter-protected freedom to protest. Protests, strikes, and pickets are signs of a healthy democratic society.
Join us to take action to protect our freedom to protest. We will be speaking to residents across Toronto to help them contact their local decision-makers to oppose the bylaw. Sign up!

For the online phone banks you will need access to a computer and, if possible, headphones to make the calls. If this is your first time phone banking with us, we will provide a quick training on Callhub (our online phone bank tool).

Accessibility Information
If you have any access needs, please let us know at the bottom of the sign up form. Access needs are defined as anything a person may need to communicate, learn, and take part in an activity.
Phone banking requires using a computer and having conversations with the public for multiple hours. Street canvassing requires standing outside talking to people for two hours. If you are not able to attend the full event, you are still welcome to join for part of it. Please just let us know a head of time.
We are implementing disability justice in our framework and are constantly learning and growing. If you have any questions, suggestions, or need any further information, please reach out to us at volunteer@progresstoronto.ca.
