Join Progress Toronto on Saturday, November 22 at the National Housing Day Rally in Toronto. March with us as we push back against Ford’s plans to make it easier to evict renters in Bill 60.
Doug Ford’s government is pushing new legislation (Bill 60) that would make it easier for landlords to evict renters and make finding an affordable place to live even harder. Join us to let renters know how Bill 60 impacts them and help them tell their MPP to protect their rights as renters.
We need our city officials to stand up for renters and demand real protections. On November 4, city councillors and Mayor Chow will discuss how they will respond to Ford's attempt to strip away renter’s rights. Progress Toronto will be helping people speak directly to city council.
Doug Ford’s government is pushing new legislation that would make it easier for landlords to evict renters. Tell Premier Doug Ford, Minister Robert Flack, and your MPP to cancel any changes that make evictions easier, and to protect and expand rent-control.
Doug Ford has introduced legislation to ban speed cameras. We are knocking on doors and talking to people at schools across the city about how speed cameras make our streets safer. Join us to help residents take action and tell Doug Ford to reverse his ban on speed cameras.
Ford could be proposing his speed camera ban as early as Monday. That’s why we will be knocking on doors across the city this weekend talking to people about why we need to protect speed cameras to make roads safer. Join us to help residents tell Doug Ford speed cameras save lives!

Doug Ford announced plans to ban speed cameras—making it easier to speed and putting lives at risk.
Hospitals and police chiefs agree: speed cameras save lives. They reduce speeding, prevent crashes, and protect communities. And because many are in school zones, they keep kids safe on their way to class.
Ford dismisses them as a “cash grab.” But you don’t pay if you don’t speed. So why is he risking kids’ lives just to make it easier for reckless drivers to break the law?
We are less than a week away from the Scarborough—Rouge Park byelection on September 29. Join Progress Toronto for our final push to elect our progressive champion Neethan Shan. Sign up here!
